On Wednesday, Prince Faisal also spoke with Greece's foreign minister. They reviewed bilateral relations and regional developments, stressing the importance of maritime security.
The Houthis claimed they targeted two Saudi oil tankers with drones and missiles, alleging the ships violated a maritime blockade. The claims raise concerns about escalating conflict in the region.
Saudi Arabia has not commented on the reported attacks. The diplomatic efforts aim to address growing threats to shipping lanes vital for global trade.
