Newly released pages from Dr. Anthony Fauci's pandemic diary show that former President Donald Trump's temperature reached 103°F before White House chief of staff Mark Meadows sought Fauci's advice on Trump's return to public life. The diary also contains references to actress Julia Roberts. The pages were obtained by Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who said he found them in government archives. During a congressional hearing, Fauci invoked his Fifth Amendment rights more than 100 times when questioned about the origins of COVID-19. Senator Rand Paul's panel is scheduled to vote next week on holding Fauci in contempt for refusing to answer. Separately, Senator John Fetterman expressed regret over not pushing the lab leak theory earlier, saying he dismissed it as a right-wing idea during the pandemic. Fetterman told Fox News Digital that this was his biggest pandemic regret. The developments come as ongoing investigations into COVID-19 origins continue. Fauci has not commented on the diary contents or the contempt vote.
