Abhishek Banerjee Challenges Rebel TMC Leaders to Rejoin Party

He dared the rebels to return to the TMC and work under Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, predicting they would not take up the challenge. The TMC has seen several high-profile defections in recent months, weakening the party's structure in West Bengal. Banerjee's statement comes as the TMC attempts to consolidate its position ahead of upcoming elections. Political analysts point out that the party is facing internal dissent, with many loyalists feeling unsettled by the exodus. Abhishek Banerjee, the nephew of Mamata Banerjee, plays a key role in the party's strategy and youth outreach. The BJP has dismissed Banerjee's allegations, stating that leaders joined the party voluntarily and are not under any protection. The TMC leadership has not yet responded to the BJP's rebuttal.
