Audible is producing new audio adaptations of Bram Stoker’s classic horror novel “Dracula” in seven different languages, each with its own full-cast recording. The English-language version will feature Jonathan Bailey as Count Dracula, alongside Ella Purnell, Aimee Lou Wood, and Maggie Gyllenhaal. The project is one of Audible’s largest rollouts to date.
International versions will also boast notable casts. The French adaptation stars Omar Sy and Deva Cassel, while the Italian version includes Riccardo Scamarcio. Other languages in the lineup include Castilian Spanish, German, Latin American Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese. All productions are scheduled for a worldwide release this fall.
The adaptations aim to bring the Gothic horror story to a global audience through immersive audio experiences. Audible has not yet announced exact release dates but confirmed that each version will feature a full ensemble cast performing the tale.
