By TrendingWire Newsroom
Caitlin Clark made history on Friday night, leading the Indiana Fever to a 110-107 victory over the Seattle Storm while setting a new franchise single-game scoring record. The rookie guard’s performance was part of a remarkable evening that saw the Fever achieve several team and WNBA milestones.
Clark’s scoring output surpassed the previous Fever record, adding to the growing list of accomplishments in her debut season. The team also set records for most points in a regular-season game and highest field-goal percentage in a half, among other achievements. The win improved the Fever’s record as they continue to build momentum.
Clark, the first overall pick in the 2024 WNBA draft, has quickly become one of the league’s most exciting players. Her ability to score and create plays has drawn comparisons to some of the greats. Friday’s game was a showcase of her talent and the potential of the Fever offense.
