New Saudi Ambassador Takes Up Post in France
By TrendingWire Newsroom
Saudi Arabia's new ambassador to France, Faisal Al-Mujfel, arrived in Paris on Tuesday to officially begin his diplomatic role. He will also serve as the Kingdom's non-resident ambassador to Monaco. Upon landing at Charles de Gaulle Airport, Al-Mujfel was greeted by Didier Le Bret, the chief of protocol at the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs. Also present were Chargé d'Affaires Majdi Mahram and other members of the Saudi embassy staff.
In a statement, Al-Mujfel expressed gratitude to King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for entrusting him with the position. He pledged to work diligently to serve Saudi Arabia's interests and to strengthen bilateral ties between the Kingdom and France across various sectors.
This appointment comes as both nations continue to build on their long-standing relationship, which includes cooperation in trade, investment, culture, and security. France is a key partner for Saudi Arabia within the European Union, and the new ambassador's role is expected to further enhance diplomatic and economic exchanges.
Al-Mujfel's arrival marks the start of his tenure, during which he will focus on deepening mutual understanding and collaboration between the two countries. His experience in diplomacy is expected to contribute to the ongoing partnership.
