By TrendingWire Newsroom

The FIFA World Cup final featured its first-ever halftime show on Sunday, with a star-studded lineup performing at the New York New Jersey Stadium. The 11-minute spectacle included performances by Madonna, Shakira, Justin Bieber, BTS, and Burna Boy, among others. Coldplay's Chris Martin also took the stage, joined by the PS22 Chorus. Conductor Gustavo Dudamel led a rendition of "Seven Nation Army" with musicians from the US, Venezuela, and Iran. The show paid tribute to football legend Pele and included appearances by Brazilian football icons Ronaldo and Ronaldinho, as well as characters from Sesame Street and The Muppets. The event, described as a Super Bowl-style extravaganza, was a first for football's biggest match. President Trump was in attendance, adding a political note to the proceedings. The halftime show was widely praised for its energy and international appeal.
