A Ukrainian drone attack sparked a fire at a warehouse belonging to Russian online retailer Wildberries near Saint Petersburg early Friday, regional officials reported. At least three people were wounded in the incident. This is the latest in a series of strikes targeting the company's facilities amid the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine. Since July 18, Kyiv has struck five Wildberries warehouses, including an attack on Saturday that killed eight night-shift workers and wounded dozens more near Moscow. The warehouse near Saint Petersburg is one of the largest in the region for the e-commerce giant. Russian authorities said the fire was brought under control, and an investigation is underway. The attack highlights the continued use of drones by Ukraine to target infrastructure within Russia. Wildberries has not commented on the latest incident. The conflict, which began in February 2022, has seen both sides use drones to strike military and logistical targets.
