Delhi and its surrounding areas woke up to rainfall on Wednesday, bringing cooler temperatures. The weather office has predicted more showers as the southwest monsoon revives after a period of weak activity.
Meanwhile, the Monsoon Session of Parliament is set to resume amid a deadlock over a protest by the Central India Paper Leak Movement (CJP). The movement started after Chief Justice of India Surya Kant referred to young protesters as 'cockroaches'. The CJP has been holding a sit-in at Jantar Mantar since June 20, demanding action against paper leaks.
