Flintoff Crash Passenger Sues BBC Studios for Over £100,000

A man who was a passenger in a car driven by former cricket star Andrew Flintoff during a crash on the set of the BBC show Top Gear is taking legal action. Racing driver Paul Rees has filed a claim against BBC Studios, seeking damages of more than £100,000. Court documents allege that Rees suffered post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and back injuries as a result of the accident. The crash occurred in December 2022 at Dunsfold Park Aerodrome in Surrey, England, while Flintoff was filming for the popular motoring program. Flintoff himself was seriously injured in the incident and spent several weeks in hospital.
