Norway Opens New Memorial for 2011 Attack Victims

It features a series of bronze pillars arranged in a circular pattern, symbolizing unity and the lives lost. The unveiling ceremony was attended by survivors, relatives of the victims, and government officials. This memorial joins other tributes across the country, including a permanent exhibition at the site of the Utøya camp. The attack remains the deadliest in Norway since World War II, and the country continues to grapple with its aftermath. The new memorial aims to ensure the victims are not forgotten and to offer a space for healing.
