The Central Bureau of Investigation has arrested two people in connection with the murder of Chandranath Rath, an aide of West Bengal opposition leader Suvendu Adhikari. Rath was shot dead on the evening of May 6 at Madhyamgram in North 24 Parganas district while he was returning home. The two arrested men are brothers and are said to be BJP workers, according to the CBI.
