Several paramedics were wounded in southern Lebanon on Wednesday when an Israeli drone strike hit their vehicle, according to the country's National News Agency (NNA). The attack occurred on a road connecting the towns of Nabatieh al-Fawqa and Dar al-Mu’allimin. The NNA reported that the missile struck a Civil Defence vehicle operated by the Islamic Health Authority, injuring the crew inside. At the same time, Israeli artillery was heavily shelling Ali al-Taher hill on the outskirts of Nabatieh al-Fawqa. The incident is part of ongoing tensions along the Israel-Lebanon border, which have seen frequent exchanges of fire in recent months. No further details on the condition of the injured paramedics were immediately available. The NNA did not specify how many were hurt. The Islamic Health Authority is a medical organization linked to the Lebanese group Hezbollah, which operates in the region. The Israeli military has not commented on the strike.
