Thousands of people are under evacuation orders as wildfires burn in Washington state and British Columbia. In Spokane, Wash., at least three fires are burning in and around the city, according to reports. Large parts of Spokane are under Level 3 evacuation orders, the most severe level, which tell residents to leave immediately and warn that it may be their only notice. In British Columbia, approximately 130 wildfires are currently burning, with almost half considered out of control, according to the BC Wildfire Service. More than 5,000 people have been placed under evacuation orders there in the past 24 hours.
