US Defense Secretary Proposes Testosterone Tests for Troops Amid Iran Tensions
By TrendingWire Newsroom
The US Defense Secretary, Pete Hegseth, has announced a controversial new plan for the military. He posted a video called “The High-T Department of War” in which he proposed mandatory testosterone screening for all US troops aged 30 and older. The move is part of his effort to boost military readiness, but critics say it is unnecessary and invasive.
Meanwhile, the United States appears to be restarting military operations against Iran. Many observers feel this comes too soon after previous conflicts. The Trump administration has not officially declared war, but airstrikes and increased tensions suggest a new campaign is underway.
In another development, a White House staff member who operates President Trump’s teleprompter has been placed on unpaid leave. The employee allegedly made $100,000 by betting on words or topics that would appear in Trump’s speeches. The bets were placed through the online platform Kalshi. White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said there are “very strict ethical guidelines here at the White House.”
These events have raised questions about discipline and judgment among Trump administration officials. While the testosterone screening plan is still just a proposal, it has already sparked debate. The Iran situation continues to evolve, and the betting scandal has embarrassed the White House.
