Two films set to premiere in the Horizons section of the Venice Film Festival have secured international sales representation. Hong Kong-based Moebius Entertainment has taken on sales for Michelle Zhou's 'Big Little Things', which follows a woman returning to her hometown of Harbin after years in the United States, caught between two cultures. Meanwhile, Films Boutique has boarded world sales for 'The Difficult Bride', a supernatural feminist drama by Rubaiyat Hossain. The film is notable as the first Bangladeshi feature to screen at Venice. Its cast includes three winners of the Bangladesh National Film Award: Azmeri Haque Badhon, Rikita Nondine Shimu, and Sunerah Kamal. Both films will compete in the Horizons section, known for showcasing new trends in cinema. The festival is expected to draw global attention to these titles.
