Netflix has announced a new comedy film, 'Women Like Us,' starring Whoopi Goldberg, Jenifer Lewis, Vanessa Williams, and Vivica A. Fox. The movie is produced by Higher Ground, the production company founded by Barack and Michelle Obama, in partnership with Charles D. King's Macro Film Studios. Tasha Smith, known for her work on 'Bel-Air' and 'Mayor of Kingstown,' will direct.
The story follows a recently widowed woman who is taken to the Hamptons by her lifelong best friends. The film is set to begin shooting in New York City this fall.
