Country singer Megan Moroney cut short her Denver concert at Ball Arena on Tuesday, stopping the show after only three songs due to illness. The artist, who is on her Cloud 9 Tour promoting her third studio album, left the stage in tears, according to reports.
Moroney later announced the show has been rescheduled. However, reports differ on the new date. Deadline reports the concert will be made up on Aug. 17, while Fox News says it is rescheduled for Aug. 27. The discrepancy could not be immediately clarified.
In a statement, Moroney described ending the performance as "the hardest decision" she has ever made and apologized to fans, saying she is "truly so sorry." The venue, Ball Arena, has not yet confirmed the new date.
The early end to the Denver stop comes as Moroney is touring in support of her recent album. She has not specified the nature of her illness. Ticket holders are advised to hold on to their tickets for the rescheduled date, which will be honored at the postponed show.
