Disney+ has greenlit “House of Fates,” a spinoff of the record-breaking Korean competition series “Battle of Fates.” The new show comes from the original series’ producer and writer and will send guests from around the world on fortune-telling pilgrimages across South Korea. It is hosted by the three top-placing fate readers from “Battle of Fates,” with other contestants from the original cast making appearances during the season. The series was shot on location in Korea. “Battle of Fates” became a breakout hit in South Korea and internationally, blending supernatural elements with reality competition. The spinoff continues the format by using fortune-telling as a guide for travel experiences. No release date has been announced for “House of Fates,” which will stream exclusively on Disney+ in select regions. The platform has been expanding its investment in Korean content, including original series and unscripted formats, as part of a broader push into Asian markets.
