The Sarajevo Film Festival will honor Woody Harrelson with its Honorary Heart of Sarajevo Award at the 32nd edition later this month. The U.S. actor is being recognized for his outstanding contribution to the film industry and an exceptional acting career, the festival announced Monday.
Festival director Jovan Marjanović said Harrelson's talent, charisma and boldness serve as an inspiration to many future generations. He follows recent recipients of the honor, including Stellan Skarsgård and Paolo Sorrentino.
The festival also said it will close with a newly restored version of the Oscar-winning Bosnian film "No Man's Land," marking the 25th anniversary of its release.
