Warner Bros. Television is developing an untitled documentary about the beloved series Gilmore Girls for HBO Max, the studio announced Wednesday. The show, which originally aired from 2000 to 2007, follows the close-knit relationship between a single mother and her daughter in the fictional Connecticut town of Stars Hollow. Director Bonni Cohen, known for the documentaries In Waves and War and Athlete A, is attached to the project. Creator Amy Sherman-Palladino, executive producer Daniel Palladino, and star Lauren Graham are among those taking part in the film, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Additional cast members and a release date have not yet been announced.
