One person was killed and at least seven others were feared trapped after a four-storey residential building collapsed in Bhiwandi, Maharashtra, late Thursday night. The building had been classified as dangerous, yet some labourers were still working there when it partially gave way. Fire officer Vijay Jadhav of the Bhiwandi-Nizampur Municipal Corporation said a body was recovered from the rubble. An injured boy was rescued and rushed to a hospital, and a woman was also pulled out alive and taken for medical treatment.
