A 21-year-old man died after the oxygen supply in an ambulance ran out while he was being transferred between hospitals in Madhya Pradesh's Mandla district, prompting an inquiry. The man, identified as Ajit Baraiya, a resident of Sunhara Mal village, died on July 27 while being taken from Bamhani Hospital to Mandla. He was on oxygen support during the journey. According to The Hindu, doctors had put him on oxygen and referred him to the district hospital, but the oxygen ran out on the way, and he died in his father's lap. An investigation has been ordered into the incident.
