Congress Leaders Protest at PM's Home Over Student Issues

Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge led a protest march to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's residence in New Delhi on Tuesday. The demonstrators demanded the resignation of the Prime Minister and Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, accusing them of failing to address concerns over student safety and examination irregularities. Police detained several senior Congress leaders during the protest. Earlier, Rahul Gandhi and his sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra visited injured students at Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital. The Congress party stated that students' demands are clear: they want accountability for paper leaks and for the ministers responsible to step down. The protests come amid ongoing student demonstrations over alleged malpractices in competitive exams and reports of police action against protesters. The government has not yet responded to the allegations.
