Police in Bihar have arrested a man who allegedly posed as an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer and claimed to be an undercover agent of National Security Advisor Ajit Doval. The man, identified as Gupta, was taken into custody after an investigation into his fraudulent activities, which spanned multiple districts in the state. He is accused of using fake credentials to cheat people across Bihar. During searches of his residence, police recovered a Tesla car, luxury vehicles, imported liquor, and other items. The investigation also includes the alleged possession of protected wildlife parts. According to The Hindu, the man's total assets are estimated to be worth over ₹100 crore, which authorities suspect were acquired through deception and corruption. A detailed probe into his background and the source of his wealth is underway.
