Three Killed in Israeli Airstrikes on Gaza

By TrendingWire Newsroom

Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip killed three people on Wednesday, according to Palestinian media. The attacks targeted different locations across the territory. One strike hit barracks housing displaced people near the Nuseirat refugee camp, killing one person and wounding several others. Another strike destroyed a residential apartment in Gaza City, resulting in one death. In Beit Lahia, a third strike near a school also killed one person. The reports came from Wafa, the official Palestinian news agency. The incidents add to the rising death toll in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas. Since the war began in October 2023, thousands of Palestinians have been killed, and much of Gaza's infrastructure has been destroyed. Israel says its operations target militants, but civilians often die in the attacks. International calls for a ceasefire have so far failed to stop the fighting. The strikes came as mediators continue efforts to negotiate a truce. The Israeli military has not yet commented on the specific incidents.
