Afghanistan beat Ireland by 92 runs in the second one-day international of their five-match series, with Rashid Khan taking six wickets to force an Irish collapse.
The match was played in Bready, where the series began on Wednesday. The win gives Afghanistan a 1-0 lead in the series.
Separately, Ireland's decision to host Afghanistan has drawn criticism from the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), which is unhappy with the move. According to a report in The Guardian, the ECB's displeasure could affect future cricket ties between Ireland and England.
The ECB has a policy that discourages bilateral series with Afghanistan, reportedly over concerns about the treatment of women under the Taliban regime. Ireland, however, has chosen to go ahead with the series.
The five-match ODI series continues with the remaining games scheduled in the coming days.
