A student opened fire at a high school north of Bangkok on Friday, killing six people after first killing his grandparents, police said.
The shooting occurred at the Debsirin Nonthaburi School in Bang Kruai district, Nonthaburi province. Six people were killed at the school: three teachers and three students. At least 10 students were wounded, and local reports put the number of injured at 10-15.
Police identified the perpetrator as a student at the school. Thailand has one of the highest rates of gun ownership in the region, and recent vows to tighten gun laws have not prevented repeated shootings.
