An explosive-laden drone was found at Leipzig Airport in Germany, forcing the closure of both runways and triggering a bomb disposal operation. The drone was discovered near the south runway by an airport employee, close to a Ukrainian jet. The device was examined and defused, with a bomb-disposal robot removing the detonator. A second flying object struck a cargo plane during the incident, causing minor damage. Air traffic was suspended for two hours. Authorities are investigating the incident, and officials have suggested a possible Russian connection. Germany's interior minister described the event as a new dimension of threat to the country.
