Cricketer Rishabh Pant has sought help from Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami to buy land in the state, saying he wants to build his first home there. Dhami responded on social media platform X, assuring Pant of all possible cooperation and said officials would soon contact him to ease the process.
Pant, who is from Uttarakhand, said he prefers to purchase land at official rates. The chief minister said instructions have been issued to concerned officials to assist Pant in accordance with existing rules.
According to reports, Pant had been trying to relocate from Delhi to Uttarakhand for the past three years. The chief minister's office said officials will follow up with Pant to help with the land acquisition procedure.
