Taylor Swift will be inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame this fall, becoming the youngest songwriter ever to receive the honor. The announcement was made Tuesday, with Swift entering the hall at age 36 in her first year of eligibility.
She is part of the class of 2026, inducted in the Contemporary Songwriter/Artists category alongside Miranda Lambert, Chris Stapleton and Phil Vassar. Other inductees announced include Lyle Lovett, Shawn Camp and Bruce Channel.
Swift joins a hall that already includes Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson. She sent a message that was read by Mark Ford, the hall's executive director, during the announcement.
