Sadie Sink, known for her role in Stranger Things, has been cast as Jean Grey in the upcoming film Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the fourth solo Spider-Man movie starring Tom Holland. According to reports, she plays a character described as a 'villain of sorts' in the story.
The film has also earned praise from comic book icon Frank Miller, who called it a 'fan's dream come true.' Miller, who has previously criticized director Christopher Nolan's Batman movies, is known for his hard-to-please reputation.
Meanwhile, a Spider-Man double in the film, Teifion Sussex from Somerset, said the role was a childhood dream come true. He had always hoped to play the friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man, and the opportunity to work on the film fulfilled that ambition.
