Warner Bros. Discovery chief executive David Zaslav told Wall Street analysts on Thursday that the studio has no plans to overhaul its DC strategy after the disappointing performance of Supergirl. When asked whether the film's reception had prompted any change of direction, Zaslav responded by highlighting the upcoming Superman sequel, Man of Tomorrow, and said director James Gunn, who also serves as DC's co-chief, is focused on the project. Zaslav praised the sequel and expressed confidence that it would get the DC franchise back on track when it arrives in 2027. He did not directly address Supergirl's box office struggles. The comments indicate the studio is sticking with its current DC plans despite the misfire.
