Mexico's largest and most prestigious university, the National Autonomous University of Mexico (Unam), has ordered about 58,000 applicants to retake their entrance exam after abnormally high test results raised suspicion of widespread cheating. The exam will be held in person after the first fully remote online attempt ended in a debacle, with thousands of results annulled.
In a separate development in India, the Congress party has expressed support for students protesting paper leaks in the state of Jharkhand. K. Raju, the All India Congress Committee in-charge for Jharkhand, said on social media that the party backs the students' agitation. Jharkhand's chief minister said he is waiting for a report from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) on the matter. The protesters are seeking a probe by central agencies into alleged irregularities in the recruitment examinations conducted by the JPSC and JSSC.
