A daughter of an injured officer described how her father was nearly lynched, while the wife of a Delhi Police ACP spoke of his painful return home. The families condemned the attacks on officers who were carrying out their duties, saying the situation escalated beyond a peaceful demonstration and endangered security personnel.
Separately, a social media influencer apologised after widespread criticism over a viral video she made during the same protest. The influencer, identified as Singh, made remarks about Rapid Action Force personnel standing in front of them and recreated an advertisement. She later deleted the clip and issued an apology, and also reported receiving threats after the video circulated.
