A 26-year-old foreign man has been arrested in connection with the death of Elisabeth-Jane Ross, a 38-year-old Scottish woman whose body was found inside a suitcase in an abandoned building in Athens, Greek police said.
Police have filed a case against the man for manslaughter, robbery and violation of weapons laws. A replica pistol and a knife were found at his home, and he was arrested on suspicion of killing Ross as well as on robbery and weapons offences.
Ross's body was discovered in a derelict building in the Greek capital. Authorities have not released further details about the circumstances of her death.
