Israeli artillery kills Palestinian woman in Gaza City

By TrendingWire Newsroom

Israeli artillery shelling in the Zeitoun neighborhood of Gaza City killed a Palestinian woman and wounded several others on Tuesday, according to local emergency services. The incident was separate from an earlier strike in the same area that left four Palestinians dead and one critically injured. Medical sources in Gaza reported that Israeli military operations across multiple areas of the Gaza Strip have killed at least 24 Palestinians since the previous day. In Gaza City alone, 10 people, including three children, have been killed in raids since dawn. The violence comes amid ongoing tensions between Israel and Palestinian militants. The Israeli military has not yet commented on the latest incidents. The Gaza Health Ministry said the death toll continues to rise as operations persist. International calls for restraint have intensified, but no ceasefire agreement has been reached. The United Nations has expressed concern over the civilian casualties and urged both sides to protect non-combatants.
