Hundreds of people, including some of Ireland's most famous entertainers, gathered in Dublin on Tuesday for the funeral of singer-songwriter Glen Hansard. The late musician was remembered with emotional musical tributes from his frequent collaborator Markéta Irglová and Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder, among others. The service drew both celebrities and ordinary members of the public. Among those attending were U2's Bono, actors Steve Coogan and Chris O'Dowd, and singer Hozier. Hansard's brother, Richard, said his sibling made the world feel like a far more magical place than it seemed. Friends, family and fellow musicians joined in honoring Hansard's life and work.
