President Donald Trump has been sued over a service that gives paying customers faster access to his Truth Social posts, with the federal lawsuit alleging the offering violates the Constitution.
The service, known as Truth API, was launched by Trump Media & Technology Group, the company behind Truth Social. According to the lawsuit, the paid early access to posts raises constitutional concerns.
Nearly a dozen firms are already paying up to $100,000 per month for the service, according to reports. Trump Media executives say they have signed up more than 10 customers.
The arrangement has also drawn concern from economists and legal experts over potential insider trading.
The lawsuit is pending in federal court. No further details about the case were immediately available.
