Saurabh Bharadwaj, a leader of the Aam Aadmi Party, has accused the Delhi government of a ₹22,000 crore rice scam plan. He alleged that the government sought highly subsidised rice meant for distribution among poor people, but the rice never reached the public.
In a separate development, the Karnataka Digital Economy Mission (KDEM) has signed a memorandum of understanding with Goodworks Group to attract fresh investment of ₹5,000 crore in new Global Capability Centres (GCCs). The partnership aims to set up 50 new GCCs and expand existing ones in the state over the next five years, creating more than 62,000 jobs.
