Activist Sonam Wangchuk Hospitalized After Court Order

By TrendingWire Newsroom

Activist Sonam Wangchuk was taken to a hospital in New Delhi on Sunday following a Delhi High Court order for daily health checks due to his worsening condition. Wangchuk, along with students and supporters of the Cockroach Janata Party, had been camping at the Jantar Mantar site to protest against the education minister. Police had earlier asked people to vacate the area. The Delhi High Court intervened after reports about Wangchuk's deteriorating health. He was shifted to Safdarjung Hospital, where he is conscious and his vitals are stable. Meanwhile, the founder of the Cockroach Janata Party, Dipke, was detained by Delhi Police. The protest continues, but Wangchuk's hospitalization marks a significant development. Authorities are monitoring the situation.
