Congress Leader Urges Enrolment in SIR Scheme for Guarantee Benefits in Karnataka
By TrendingWire Newsroom
Congress leader and former MLA Anjali Nimbalkar chaired a meeting at the Belagavi District Congress Committee (DCC) office to review the work of party workers serving as Booth Level Agents (BLAs). During the meeting, she stressed the importance of enrolling people in the SIR scheme to ensure they receive the guarantee benefits promised by the Congress party. The SIR scheme is part of the Karnataka government's initiative to provide guaranteed benefits to eligible citizens. Nimbalkar noted that BLAs play a crucial role in reaching out to voters and ensuring that the benefits of government schemes reach the intended beneficiaries. She instructed party workers to dedicate themselves to this task and help strengthen the party's outreach in the region. The meeting was attended by several DCC office bearers and other party functionaries. This initiative is seen as part of the Congress party's efforts to fulfill its electoral promises and improve service delivery at the grassroots level. The party has been focusing on ensuring that welfare schemes are implemented effectively across the state, especially in rural areas. Anjali Nimbalkar's review aims to streamline the process and enhance the effectiveness of party workers in connecting with the public. The Congress leader also encouraged workers to address any challenges they face in the field and to keep the party informed about local issues.
