USA cricketer Bodugum Akhilesh Reddy has been banned from all cricket for eight years after an ICC tribunal found him guilty of three breaches of the Anti-Corruption Code.
The ban, which takes effect on November 21, 2025, stems from offences committed during the Abu Dhabi T10 competition in November. The tribunal determined that Reddy attempted to fix matches, encouraged a teammate to take part in corrupt activity, and deleted evidence during the subsequent investigation.
The ICC Anti-Corruption Tribunal announced the punishment, which bars Reddy from playing or being involved in any cricket activity for the full eight-year period. The case was investigated under the ICC's anti-corruption rules, which prohibit attempts to influence the outcome of matches and related misconduct.
Reddy, who represents the United States, has not yet issued a public response to the ban. The ruling is one of the lengthier penalties handed down in recent years for violations of cricket's corruption regulations.
