An Indian-flagged vessel was attacked and sank in the Red Sea, but all 14 crew members, including 13 Indians, were safely rescued, India's Ministry of External Affairs said.
The ministry condemned the attack on the ship, identified as MSV Faize Noor Oliya. According to the ministry, all 14 seafarers on board were rescued.
The vessel came under attack about 13 nautical miles south of Hodeidah, a port city held by Yemen's Houthi rebels.
The attack is the latest incident in the Red Sea, where shipping has been threatened amid regional tensions. India's external affairs ministry did not specify who carried out the attack.
