Huda Ammori, co-founder of the banned direct action group Palestine Action, has won permission to challenge the group's proscription at the UK Supreme Court. Separately, more than 1,500 people facing terrorism charges linked to Palestine Action protests faced chaos at Westminster Crown Court on Thursday after their cases were listed for hearings despite many having been told their trials were postponed. The campaign group Defend Our Juries reported that hundreds of individuals charged with terrorism offences for allegedly holding signs supporting Palestine Action had been informed that their trials, originally scheduled for 30 July, were adjourned until October. However, on Wednesday, some 1,579 people—including those who received adjournment notices—were listed for trials on Thursday, causing confusion and disruption at the court in London.
