Suspected crime boss Daniel Kinahan has been extradited to Ireland from Dubai to face allegations that he ran an international drug smuggling and money laundering network.
Kinahan landed in Dublin on Sunday. He was arrested in Dubai in April. The United States named him in 2022 as one of three leaders of the Kinahan Organised Crime Group and offered a $5 million reward for his arrest.
He is accused of leading the group, which authorities say has operations in Britain, Spain and the United States. He also faces allegations of directing a criminal organisation. The group is linked to drug trafficking and money laundering.
