Julie Andrews will not reprise her role as Queen Clarisse in "The Princess Diaries 3." The 90-year-old actress turned down the offer to appear opposite Anne Hathaway in the upcoming sequel, saying she considers herself retired from on-screen acting. Andrews said she was asked throughout last year to return, but declined. She added that while she is not completely retired, her current work is of a different kind. Hathaway is set to return as Mia Thermopolis, now queen. The third film follows "The Princess Diaries" (2001) and "Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement" (2004). Andrews shared her decision in a recent interview.
