Noida Police registered a zero FIR against a 25-year-old woman for alleged abusive language directed at Prime Minister Narendra Modi during a protest at Jantar Mantar. The protest was led by the Chief Justice of India (CJP). The complaint was filed by Supreme Court advocate Smriti Singh, who said the woman’s remarks hurt the dignity of a constitutional office and were intended to spread hatred. The accused, identified as Ruchika Singh, was booked under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. The case was initially filed at Noida Police station but has been transferred to Delhi Police for further investigation, according to officials. The complainant gathered details after receiving several videos of the incident. No arrests have been reported yet.
