Opposition MPs staged a street play outside Parliament on Tuesday depicting alleged embezzlement of Ram Temple donations, and separately demanded the resignation of Union Home Minister Amit Shah over protests by NEET-UG students. The Congress and Samajwadi Party organized the performance outside Makar Dwar, Parliament's main entrance. Independent MP Pappu Yadav played a priest pocketing donations, while Rahul Gandhi and other leaders participated. The Bharatiya Janata Party accused the opposition of insulting religious faith. The protest came amid a row over the alleged theft of donations collected for the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. The MPs also raised the issue of NEET-UG student protests, calling for Shah to step down. The demonstration drew attention to both controversies, with opposition leaders using the skit to press their allegations.
