Two labourers from Chhattisgarh who had come to seek work were killed in a terror attack in Kulgam, Jammu and Kashmir, officials said. One of the victims, identified as Bhopendra, was injured Friday night and taken to a Srinagar hospital with chest injuries, where he later died. The other victim also died in the attack. Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge condemned the killings, saying terrorists identified the labourers before shooting them. He expressed grief over the loss of lives. The chief ministers of Jammu and Kashmir and Chhattisgarh announced financial aid for the families of the victims. The attack follows a recent terror strike during Amarnath Yatra duty.
